'''डैलस''' [[संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका]] के [[टेक्सस|टेक्सास]] प्रान्त का सबसे बड़ा नगर है। यह [[ट्रिनिटी नदी]] पर, फोर्टवर्थ से ४५ किमी पूर्व तथा ओकलाहोमा प्रांतीय रेखा से ७५ मील पर बसा है। यह मुख्य बंदरगाह तथा व्यापारिक नगर है एवं डैलस बरलिंगटन, फ्रसको, सांतोफी, कैनजैस आदि अन्यान्य व्यापारिक नगरों से जुड़ा हुआ है। इस केंद्र पर प्रतिदिन प्राय: १०० यात्री रेलगाड़ियाँ आती जाती हैं।

यहाँ के पृष्ठप्रदेश में रुई, प्राकृतिक गैस, तेल तथा अन्य खनिज पाए जाते हैं, जिनका यह नगर मुख्य व्यापारिक केंद्र है। यहाँ पर लगभग ८० उद्यान ४,७६७ एकड़ भूमि पर फैले हुए हैं। डैलस पब्लिक विद्यालयों एवं विश्वविद्यालयों के लिये प्रसिद्ध है। यहाँ मदिरा, वस्त्र, कागज, सीमेंट लोह उद्योग, लकड़ी के बने सामान, विद्यूद्यंत्र तथा खाद्य पदार्थो को डिब्बाबंद करने के अनेक औद्योगिक संस्थान हैं।

ट्रिनिटी नदी पर १८४१ ई० में जॉन नील ब्रायन द्वारा पीटर्स कालोनी नामक गाँव का शिलान्यास किया गया जो १८४५ ई० में, फिलाडेल्फिया के उपराष्ट्रपति जार्ज मफ्फलिन डैलस के द्वारा उदघाटन के समय तक डैलस नगर हो चुका था।
