Style All Over Cypress & Gül . Materials Wool . Age Second Half 19th Century .

Large (especially wide) Baluch rugs are exceedingly rare. This is a remarkable piece in very well preserved condition. Alternating rows depict cypress trees and Turkmen Gül motifs in offset coloration. This most probably was a commission for a tribal Khan or chieftain for ceremonial use.
